I’ve grown up with the struggle of wanting things perfect, but life isn’t, perfect. As I’m getting older i’m starting to appreciate the “flaws” in things. To me an old vintage quilt salvaged from a charity store is beautiful – it’s washed, worn out look is perfect to me!

I love to shop in charity shops. It is a challenge to hunt for unusual and interesting things for my home. Things that are ok as they are or need to be restored for a new life and function. I also like getting a bargain and knowing my money goes towards helping others in need.It also makes me feel humble and thankful that i live in a country where i have the choice to shop in a fancy boutique or a charity shop.I am also grateful that i can shop in charity and second hand shops to find objects to recycle, than to have to go through garabage dumps like some in third world countires.
